Why Saltwired exists

I have crewed on other people's boats and captained my own, and I have logged more than 7,000 nautical miles. The hardest part was never the weather. It was finding people I could trust to live beside on a small boat for weeks at a time. Crew listings and Facebook threads were never built for that, so I am building the thing I wished I had.
