My mission

To help people live with more freedom, purpose, and trust in their own inner direction.

Whether it’s through hosting meaningful travel experiences, supporting homeowners who want less stress and more balance, or guiding others who feel the call to break out of the box, my mission is to remind people that there’s always another way.

We’ve been taught to chase things that don’t make us happy—status, perfection, control. I’m here to offer something different. A life designed from the inside out. One rooted in simplicity, intuition, connection, and self-trust.

My mission is to lead by living it. To keep growing, keep sharing, and keep showing up as a reminder that you don’t need permission to start over, dream bigger, or choose a life that actually feels good.

The Woman Behind Wanderlust Atlas

Hi, I’m Chantal.

I’m a sailor, a property manager, a single mom, a foster kid, and a woman who’s spent her whole life building freedom from the ground up. Wanderlust Atlas isn’t just a name. It’s how I live, and it’s what I hope to share with others who feel called to live differently too.

When I was 12, I placed myself into foster care. I went to court, fought for it, and won. That moment set the tone for the rest of my life. I’ve always followed my gut, even when it didn’t make sense to anyone else. Especially then.

I became a mom young at 17. I bought my first house at 22 while living on little assistance and and a college loan. I put myself through college, raised a family, and built a career. I worked every kind of job you can think of— Real Estate Agent, BMW event marketing, car sales, hospitality—and eventually launched my own Airbnb management company. At its peak, I was managing over 600 units across Ontario, from Kingston to Toronto and everywhere in between.

Then in 2013, my life changed again. I was invited to sail from Kingston, Ontario Canada to the Bahamas and back. I didn’t hesitate. I said yes. I spent ten months at sea, learning to navigate by instinct, wind, and intuition. It unlocked something in me I never knew I was missing.

Out there on the ocean, stripped of distractions and noise, I started to see things differently. I had spent years working around wealth—meeting people from every level of success—and what I learned was that being rich has nothing to do with money. Happiness doesn’t come from the things we own or the image we show the world. What matters most is kindness, connection, and living in alignment with your own heart compass.

That realization stayed with me. It became part of my foundation and shaped the way I live, work, and create today. The outside world can look shiny, but it’s the inner world that tells the truth. That’s what Wanderlust Atlas is really about—learning to follow your heart’s own map.

When I got back to Canada, I kept sailing. I raced 30-foot boats every summer and was eventually gifted my first sailboat. When the pandemic hit, I found myself managing properties remotely from that boat. That’s when it hit me: I could do this from anywhere.

So I did.

In February 2021, I booked a one-way ticket to Mexico. I started crewing on other people’s boats through the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific coast. I explored Chiapas, Puerto Vallarta, and everything in between. I spent another six months at sea, living a life most people only dream about. In total, I’ve logged around 7,000 nautical miles.

Today, I live on my own 30ft sailboat in Isla Mujeres. I ride a scooter, rollerblade by the water, and build a life that feels true to who I am. Through Wanderlust Atlas, I help others travel deeper, host better, and reconnect with what actually matters.

I believe in freedom. In movement. In designing a life that feels right from the inside out. If you’re here, there’s probably something inside you that’s ready to shift too.

Let’s follow that.
